Sodomy Revisited: Leaving the “Natural Use of the Woman”

By Eunice Ray

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.  (Matt. V.)  How is it possible to be “perfect,” even as our Father in heaven is perfect?  This is cause for great consternation and frustration among Christians, but many settle it by openly declaring with little, if any, lament “well, no one is perfect.”  But it really should not be dismissed even if there is a roaring chorus of “nobody’s perfect,” for the Lord, as any good Commander, would not issue an order impossible to carry out.

If we look closer at the definition of the word “perfect,” it becomes clear what Jesus commanded us to do:

Perfect, a. [L. perfectus, perficio, to complete ; per and facio, to do or make through, to carry to the end.]

1.  Finished ‘ complete ; consummate ; not defective ; having all that is requisite to its nature a n nd kind ; as a perfect statue ; a perfect likeness ; a perfect work ; a perfect system.  Fully informed; completely skilled; as a man perfect in the use of arms; perfect in discipline.

2.  Complete in moral excellencies. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect. (Matt. V.)

3.  Manifesting perfection.  My strength is made perfect in weakness. (II Cor. xii.).

American Dictionary of the English Language, Noah Webster 1828

It is sadly necessary though wearying to have to point out to Christians, who are commanded to be “perfect” meaning purposeful and useful, the ancient scriptural prohibition against sodomy, an act considered unnatural in the law and an imperfect use of the body’s alimentary canal “per os,” or “per anum.”  Twenty-five short years ago, a discussion on sodomy was not necessary, because Americans, both churched and un-churched, understood the history of sodomy as sin for the former and unhealthy for the later.

Christian Principles Animated America’s Founding Common Law

In 1892, based on 66 precedents the Supreme Court unanimously held that America is a Christian nation and the case has never been overturned.  The nation’s law order was originally based upon the Ten Commandments and the Old and New Testaments.  But in the 1950s, Alfred Kinsey’s fraudulent research was used as the authority to change America’s founding law order.  With the American law order flowing from “I AM, the God that liveth,” prior to Kinsey, lawful sexual congress was reserved for marriage alone and related family and property laws (like inheritance) were dedicated to life and thus “creational” and generative in nature as evidenced in the language with generative, generation, etc., deriving from genitalia.  However, thanks to Alfred Kinsey’s research (Sexual Behavior in the Human Male(1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), sexuality became, for the first time in American law and public attitude, “recreational” and “degenerative” rather than generative which inspired the acceptance of “unnatural practices” or the sodomies.

Law Points the Way

Kinsey’s scientific authority privatized intimate physical contacts or the “martial act” and brought “sex” out into the open.  This shift moved the intimate from marriage and the creational to the recreational.  Included in acts of unlawful carnal knowledge prior to 1948 was the act of sodomy.  In all state law sodomy was rendered unlawful, regardless of the gender of the sodomites whether married or not or of the same sex or not.  Sodomy is defined in Black’s Law Dictionary (1968) as

“A carnal copulation by human beings with each other against nature, or with a beast.”  This term is often defined in statutes and judicial decisions as meaning “the crime against nature” the “crimen innominatum,” or as carnal copulation against the order of nature, by man with man, or, in the same unnatural manner, with woman or with a beast.[1]  Fellatio, or Fellation is the offense committed with the male sexual organ and the mouth.[2]

The “missionary position,” or the marital act, positioned the couple “eye-to-eye and lip-to-lip.”  I have been told it was so called because missionaries found unsaved populations denominated as penetrator and/or penetratee with no thought to restraint or order.  Kinsey sought via his research to deconstruct American morality which he saw as repressive and to free the American nation from its Christian moorings.  With Kinsey as their authority, Playboy magazine began to promote the sodomies, both anal and oral for all married, or not, and ridiculed the “missionary” position.

Kinsey’s fraudulent skewed data triggered the destruction of the sodomy laws and the acceptance of what had always been understood as “homosexual sex acts” (oral sodomy) among American women and girls, men and boys.  Kinsey’s data suggested that up to 50% of women who have ever had coitus engaged in oral sodomy,42 as a sexual “variation,” while his narrative was so vague as to suggest that while the rates were low (2%) among those with no coitus, something like “38% to 43%” of the coital group had engaged in oral sodomy.

Today, the promotion of oral and anal sodomy is encouraged by Kinseyan trained marriage counselors.  Playboy currently markets a buxom blonde female video demonstration of both forms of sodomy for the mail-order catalogue market and is so common as to appear in pseudo-food advertisements and in many women’s magazines at the grocery check out counter. This is a complete reversal in attitude and practice.  A scholarly homosexual history, Gay New York, reports on 1940’s prostitutes found they would not engage in the sodomies.  Histories of prostitution reveal that oral sodomy (when available) was a highly paid activity, due to the view that such conduct was repugnant and involved humiliating postures of subjugation to the male member.

As Christian women today have largely lost sight of the sure protections for marriage and their health provided in the law of God, they are now further misled by the popular press screaming “giving a man what he wants most,” which is now, more often than not, anal sodomy.  Men en masse, Christian and secular alike, because of the pornographic medium, expect sodomy from their truly loving and subordinated wives or from the liberated and forward thinking female(s) in their life.  Many churches counsel couples that sodomy is okay in marriage, if both agree.

Anatomy as a Map to Restoration

What is a girl to do?  Back to basics.  Who is right?  Does God really say that these behaviors are not to be found in our lives?  Anatomy is a primary indicator.  In God’s infinite wisdom He created man and woman - two different sexes.  Sex by definition simply means “to divide, “male and female He created them.  Therefore, “sex” can not rightly be a word substituted for to intimate physical relationship.  “Having sex” is mechanical and undoes the protective and exclusive connotation of the “marital act.”  The marital act, emphasis on “marital,” demands and requires commitment, responsibility, duty and is not “free love” with its “recreational” abandon.

The womb is what made woman immutably woman just as being dark skin made the negro immutably black.  She is “womb man,” or man with a womb, and as woman she only has a womb which gives her only the ability to conceive children and give birth, which men, of course, do not.  Employing the womb during physical intimacy is only possible with a woman.  Using any other part of the body other than the womb for intercourse, does not require woman.  If a womb is not requisite to the sexual relation, a man will, as they say, do.  Therefore, encouraging the sexual use of other body parts for copulation renders woman less valuable or non-essential in these instances.  Given the inherent and natural desire in woman to have children, she, in fact, can become a liability to man, whose natural bent is to be intimate with a low level of responsibility, duty and commitment to her and any children, “fruit of her womb.”

Young ladies should take note.  The womb is the only “perfect” part of the human anatomy made by God exclusively to receive the male genitalia and to nurture new life.  It is not the perfect alimentary canal, the mouth (os) and anus (anum), perfect for digestion but not for sexual intercourse.  When sexual intercourse is not “perfectly” creational in nature, but “recreational,” then “parts is parts,” whether human or animal.  Remember little children “keep yourselves from idols.  As other ways are used for physical pleasure, women have in like measure fallen in favor and have lost societal position.
